PHOENIX – Prosecutors and defense attorneys for the suspect in an Arizona shooting rampage can't agree on where he should get a psychological evaluation.
In a filing Wednesday, prosecutors say they want Jared Lee Loughner's exam conducted at a so-called medical referral center that provides forensic services and has increased resources, likely outside of Arizona.
The filing says defense attorneys argue that the exam should be conducted in a Tucson prison.
Another filing by the prosecution Wednesday seeks to stop the Pima County Sheriff's Office from disclosing investigative records to the Washington Post, arguing that their request is too broad.
Loughner has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the Jan. 8 attack in Tucson that killed six and injured 13, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
