Ashley Greene

Ashley Greene is an American actress whose screen career is closely tied to one of the defining young-adult film franchises of its era. As Alice Cullen in all five films of The Twilight Saga, Greene became a familiar presence across a series that ran from Twilight in 2008 through Breaking Dawn – Part 2 in 2012. The role gave her career its breakthrough and remains the central thread in her filmography. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, on February 21, 1987, Greene was raised between Jacksonville and Middleburg. She initially considered modeling, but after being encouraged to focus on commercials, she took commercial and acting classes and discovered that acting interested her more. She graduated from high school early and moved to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue it. Early television appearances included guest spots on Punk'd and Crossing Jordan, but Greene’s work soon developed primarily through film. Around her years as Alice Cullen, she moved between drama, thriller and horror. She starred in Summer's Blood, played Michelle Burkham in Skateland—which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival—and reunited with Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz for A Warrior's Heart. In 2012, she took the lead in the supernatural horror film The Apparition. Greene continued to explore genre and ensemble projects after Twilight, appearing in the 2013 film CBGB, about the storied New York music club. She also stepped into the DC universe as the voice of Barbara Gordon, better known as Oracle, in the 2015 video game Batman: Arkham Knight. In 2026, she played a fictionalized version of herself in the Disney+ series Wonder Man.
