Taylor Schilling

Taylor Schilling is an American actress, born July 27, 1984, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She is best known for playing Piper Chapman in the hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, a role that brought her international recognition and established her as a leading television actress. Schilling made her feature-film debut in the independent drama Dark Matter (2007) before landing the lead role in the television medical drama Mercy. Her early film appearances also included Atlas Shrugged: Part I and the political thriller Argo. In The Lucky One (2012), Schilling starred opposite Zac Efron as Beth Green in the romantic drama based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. The film helped introduce her to a much wider movie audience.
