Synopsis
Bryan Mills is trying to reconnect with his daughter, Kim, while rebuilding his relationship with his former wife, Lenore. His work takes him to Istanbul, where he invites them to join him. For a brief period, the trip seems to give the family something they have rarely managed to enjoy together. Peace. Bryan, however, has enemies he doesn't know are watching. Murad is the father of Marko, one of the kidnappers Bryan killed while searching for Kim in Paris. To Bryan, those men were part of the organisation that abducted his daughter. To Murad, one of them was his son. And Murad wants the man responsible for his death. His men track Bryan through Istanbul and launch their attack. Bryan recognises the danger almost immediately, but this time he cannot simply disappear and hunt his enemies from the shadows. Both he and Lenore are captured. Kim escapes. That reversal changes everything. The daughter Bryan once crossed Europe to rescue is now the only person outside capable of helping him. Using a hidden phone and Bryan's instructions, Kim must navigate Istanbul, determine where her parents are being held and help create an opportunity for her father to escape. Once Bryan is free, the situation changes again. Murad wanted revenge against a helpless prisoner. Instead, he's released the same man whose relentless pursuit destroyed his son's operation the first time around.
